A man who plucked up the courage to go on his first ever Tinder date after being ‘superliked’ by a seemingly-eager woman has told how the evening ended in total misery after the unnamed lady behaved so rudely that he ran away without telling her.
After talking for a few days, the Imgur user, known only as Minilogo37, shared that despite their chemistry prior, the date took a turn when the girl arrived to the fancy restaurant in sweatpants, did not look at him once, and ordered the most expensive items on the menu.
Once Minilogo37 realized she was only there for the meal, he excused himself to go to the bathroom but really, he got in his car and drove home without paying or saying goodbye to his date. He detailed his entire experience in an Imgur post which got a lot of feedback.
After what seemed like a normal Tinder match, Minilogo37 asked the woman who he had been speaking to for a couple of days, out to dinner.
He shared in the post that dinner ‘was her suggestion,’ and once they met up at the restaurant, he realized that a lot of things were going wrong.
Minilogo37 shared a detailed post about his date, titled, ‘Had to be a $150 check, easy,’ saying exactly what happened from his point of view and it went viral with over 23,158 points and 19,554 views on Imgur.
After posting about his date that went horribly wrong, he asked the Internet for advice and what their opinions were about his actions on date night. People had a lot to say about his actions and his date’s.
‘I signed up for Tinder, just to see what would happen. A few hours later, I got “superliked,” which is apparently better than “liked.” We talked for a few days, she seemed super cool. I suggested a date, and she insisted on it being dinner. Cool.’
‘We met up tonight at a restaurant I’d picked out. She didn’t look at me, wore sweatpants, and immediately ordered a $13 appetizer. Okay, not a deal-breaker.
‘I tried starting a conversation a few times, but she only gave one word answers. Then, she orders a $25 steak and $22 crab legs. She drank four $9 glasses of wine.
‘I got the steak, and a few drinks myself. Right about the time our main courses arrived, I’d pretty much given up.
‘She talked more to the waiter.
‘As we were finishing, I excused myself and went to the restroom. While I was in there, a light bulb went off.
‘I left the bathroom, headed out the door, got in my car, and drove home. Now, here I am. She messaged me a few times, called me a “f****r” about twelve times. Eh.’
After sharing his date night ordeal, he called on the internet for advice and some of the comments were absolutely hilarious because people were outraged by the woman’s actions that night.
One user wrote, ‘You played the player at her own game and won,’ while others said things like, ‘I would’ve looked her in the eyes as I ask for separate checks,’ ‘I agree, this guy knows how to play,’ and ‘You handled that like a champ. Enough said.’
While many users were quick to give kudos to the guy, other people shared their own views on the entire date and how weird dating is in this day and age.
Speaking about the date, some users were quick to point out, ‘Was she even playing a game though? I mean she put zero effort into her ruse, she was just straight up a*****e from top to bottom.’
Surprisingly, one person commented, ‘A lot of women have admitted to using Tinder for that very reason, good on you for turning it around on her,’ about women using men to get free expensive meals.
Others wanted to point out that what the guy did was wrong, leaving comments like, ‘He should have paid at least for his own share. Nobody won, especially not the restaurant,’ and ‘I would’ve grabbed the waiter on the side and paid for my portion before leaving.’
After many people called Mini out, one user asked, ‘I’m confused, did you ditch her with the bill and was the plan unspoken about you “buying” or did she know going in?’
Minilogo37 replied to the user saying, ‘I mean, I said “let me take you out” and we agreed on dinner. I was completely ready to pay.’
While the internet was completely divided over the topic and everyone had different views on what was right and what was wrong, it was a terrible Tinder date regardless.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke Wednesday about a new requirement in the Canadian summer jobs grant application that groups must indicate support for “the right to access safe and legal abortions” to be included in the program. Trudeau defended the requirement and called groups opposed to abortion “not in line with where we are as a government, and quite frankly where we are as a society.”
“If you’re pro-life then you are ridiculed and insulted, but if you’re pro-choice then you are praised,” a student told Trudeau at a town hall at McMaster University and was greeted with applause.
Trudeau replied that defending rights and freedoms “is at the core of who I am and, quite frankly, is at the core of who Canada is. … At the same time, we need to know that there is a difference between freedom of expression and acting on those expressions and beliefs.”
He went on to explain his issue with pro-life groups receiving the grant.
“An organization that has the explicit purpose of restricting women’s rights by removing rights to abortion and the right for women to control their own bodies is not in line with where we are as a government, and quite frankly where we are as a society,” he said.
He also clarified that while people can believe what they want, acting on those beliefs were problematic, in his view.
“Of course, you’re more than allowed to have whatever beliefs you like,” he continued. “But when those beliefs lead to actions determined to restrict a woman’s right to control her own body, that’s where I, and I think we, draw the line as a country. And that’s where we stand on that.”
Trudeau called abortion an “important right” for Canada.
“Women have fought for generations for the right to control their own bodies, to be able to choose themselves what to do with their bodies, when and with whom to have children,” he emphasized. “This is a really important right that we have established.”
Toronto Right to Life sued over the requirement last week saying it violated their Canadian Charter rights to freedom of expression and to freedom of conscience and religion.
“Our conscience compels us to not sign that attestation,” Blaise Alleyne, president of Toronto Right to Life told the Catholic Herald. “It is a violation of our freedom of conscience and freedom of expression for the government to compel speech or else punish us by withholding an unrelated benefit.”
A radical sex education program that teaches gender is fluid and is secondary to biological sex is spreading across public schools in Canada.
Sexual Orientation and Gender Identification (SOGI), which began in British Columbia in 2016, is a curriculum that normalizes homosexuality and gender confusion.
SOGI’s website says the curriculum’s title is “an inclusive term that encompasses all individuals regardless of where they identify on the sexual orientation or gender identity spectrums, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit, heterosexual, and cisgender.”
The program is based on the notion that its use in public schools reduces “discrimination, suicidal ideation and suicide attempts for all students.”
The suggestion of the fear of suicide is one of the primary reasons parents of the few children who are truly gender confused and those swept up in a cultural trend are urged by LGBT activists in schools to immediately rush to affirm their children’s claim to be a different gender. The fear also fuels the recommendation by LGBT “affirming” therapists that children claiming to be a gender that does not match their biological sex must be affirmed in their gender confusion and even allowed to begin taking puberty-suppressing drugs in order to begin “transition” to the opposite sex.
The SOGI curriculum notes 10 “key components” are necessary for the program to be effective in schools, including learning the “common language” used by LGBT activists; ensuring students have the right to “self-identification, which includes the name by which they wish to be addressed and the preferred pronouns that correspond to their gender identity”; “dress guidelines” to ensure students can dress in a manner that expresses whichever gender they prefer at any given time; and allowing all students to use whichever bathrooms and showers they believe corresponds with their preferred gender.
According to a report at the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), one teacher told her class of young children: “There are people who are boys, there are people who are girls, there are people whose gender might be a little bit of both or might even be neither.”
Young children read books that normalize transgenderism, including 10,000 Dresses, and sing The Rainbow Song, which includes the lyrics, “Gender won’t decide the choices we make. Some boys like dressing up; some girls like catching snakes.”
Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson, an author and inspirational speaker who opposes SOGI, told CBN that the program requires that even children in kindergarten should be encouraged to be whichever gender they want.
“And we are seeing the results of that now because some kids are reacting very emotionally and saying, and they’re in fear, will I suddenly struggle with feeling like a different gender inside of my body?” she said.
Similarly, Kari Simpson of Culture Guard – which also opposes the program – calls SOGI child abuse.
“So all those beautiful qualities that make young girls beautiful girls and women are being basically vilified, the things that make our boys, boys, are being taken from them, so equating young men to be strong protectors, is something that’s now evil,” Simpson said.
Transgender individual Morgane Oger, however, argues SOGI is focused on acceptance and not indoctrination:
The idea is to teach kids that there are gay kids and there are trans kids and there are trans parents and gay parents in our society and everybody is wanted and desired – after all, that’s what our Human Rights code says and it’s the role of schools to teach the following of our laws, right?
When asked about parental rights to opt children out of classes and programs that promote SOGI, Oger said, “Actually, in Canada the parent’s rights are limited and children’s rights are put ahead, so the child has the right to be protected from the parents when the parents behave badly.”
SOGI notes on its website that, in British Columbia, its educator network “has grown from 9 to 49 districts” in one year.
Vancouver area pastor Kevin Cavanaugh is joining with Tyler Thompson and Simpson to warn Christian parents on social media about SOGI, hoping the effort will lead to a resurrection of the Christian community in Canada.
“Here’s the concern,” Cavanaugh said. “You take this a few more generations, a few more seasons, a few more years, and the question of whether or not Christian parents are fitting or fit to actually raise their children, that – if we don’t battle this back, that is going to come onto the plate, right?”
“We’re beginning to meet with pastors and we’re seeing tears in their eyes – and the church is beginning to prepare for what it takes to fight for our kids,” Tyler Thompson said.
A new study released by the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) – in a state that is the first in the U.S. to adopt the LGBT rights agenda as part of a new history and social studies curriculum for children as young as the second grade – finds that gender “nonconforming” young people in California were more than twice as likely to have psychological problems than those comfortable with their biological sex.
According to the study, 17 percent of “gender nonconforming” respondents reported severe psychological distress, versus 7 percent of “gender conforming” youth.
While the pro-LGBT UCLA study’s authors point to lack of acceptance of a young person’s chosen gender identity and victimization by family and others as primary causes of the psychological problems experienced by “gender nonconforming” young people, the American College of Pediatricians has asserted that children and adolescents who are uncomfortable with their biological sex suffer from gender dysphoria, as defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-V):
A person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking. When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind, not the body, and it should be treated as such. These children suffer from gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria (GD), formerly listed as Gender Identity Disorder (GID), is a recognized mental disorder in the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association (DSM-V)…
Additionally, Researchers Paul Hruz, Lawrence Mayer, and Paul McHugh address the problem of “gender-affirming” therapy in a paper titled “Growing Pains,” published at The New Atlantis.
The authors write:
Gender-affirming models of treatment are sometimes applied even to very young children. Often, the gender-affirming approach is followed in later youth and adulthood by hormonal and surgical interventions intended to make patients’ appearances align more closely with their gender identity than their biological sex. In order to improve the success of the physical changes, interventions at younger ages are increasingly being recommended.
The authors warn of decisions made to help “affirm” a gender-confused child’s perceived identity, without any connection to scientific fact or research.
“Though there is little systematically collected data on the number of young people (or even the number of adults) who identify as transgender or who have undergone sex-reassignment surgery, there is some evidence that the number of people receiving medical and psychotherapeutic care for gender identity issues is on the rise,” the authors conclude.
MONTREAL – Montreal’s French-language superhospital says it’s looking into a complaint by a patient who says a reputed urologist rebuffed him because he wanted to be served in English.
Zbigniew Malysa, a 67-year-old Polish man who has lived in Canada for more than 30 years, alleges in several interviews the doctor, Luc Valiquette, made offensive remarks about his ethnic origin and his difficulties in expressing himself in French.
The doctor then allegedly tore up and threw out a colonoscopy form that was intended for the patient.
Although Malysa speaks and understands French, he says he wanted discussions about his medical care to be conducted in English.
Valiquette said the situation had arisen from a misunderstanding and that he’d be in touch with Malysa.
Management at the French hospital, known as the CHUM, says a review of Malysa’s complaint is underway.
The hospital also noted that while it strives to serve patients in their mother tongue, it is not on the list of public institutions required to offer all its services in English
The Alameda County District Attorney filed a felony charge against Kyle Chapman yesterday for possession of a leaded stick. The charges stem from a melee between Trump supporters and anti-fascists in Berkeley on March 4. Chapman was seen carrying a long baton into several fights and was filmed cracking the weapon over the heads of a masked antifa and other counter-demonstrators.
Berkeley police arrested Chapman on March 4 for suspicion of felony assault. He was also arrested in Berkeley on April 10 after another fight.
If convicted, Chapman would be ineligible for probation and would have to serve time in state prison, as opposed to a jail sentence, due to his prior convictions.
According to charging documents on file in Alameda County State Superior Court, Chapman was arrested and convicted of felony grand theft in San Diego County in 2001 and received a prison term. He was also convicted of felony robbery in Travis County, Texas in 1993 and served a term in state prison. Alameda prosecutors are therefore charging Chapman under sections 1170.12(c)(1) and 667(e)(1) of the penal code.
Alt-right hero Kyle Chapman, father to a Half Asian boy, continues his career as a full time criminal for the cause of making his Asian son a second class citizen. White supremacists who hate Hapas have said “even Hapas deserve better than this”, and that Chapman “would not be doing this is his son was white.”
White Redditor named Jeremy Haakma, with an Asian girlfriend, makes Asian penis joke, displaying the common insecurity and hypocrisy of antisocial White males who target Asian women that highly endangers their half-Asian sons who oftentimes pass as full Asian, while having a father who hates Asian males to an unusual degree
This is precisely why half Asians with Asian mothers and White fathers wind up being blow outs despite harboring an unusual egotism that other mixed races do not have (e.g., “I am Half Asian master race”). No matter what we do in life – we will have a perpetual knowledge that it is our fathers who are White. And remember, it is literally the worst, most disrespectful, most racist, and most antisocial men who are raising half Asian sons (as a way to have children or a family at all, after being denied such by White women) – so you wonder why every single criminal who was half Asian in this world has a white father; and wonder why so many half Asians are extremely arrogant and self-possessed about their heritage – as a compensation tool for their latent insecurity about their Asianness.
Edward told me that Anglin acted like he was smarter than everyone else, and in a country where young white men are “treated in a godly way,” Anglin’s ego only grew. He had a complex about being short—he claims to be 5 foot 7, but several people I talked with put his height closer to 5 foot 4. In Davao, however, Anglin hit on every pretty young Filipina he saw and had success with many of them, sometimes taking advantage of their hope that an American husband could be an exit from poverty. Most of these girls were 18 or 19 years old, but Edward says some were younger. He remembers Anglin once picking up a 14-year-old in a bar and bringing her back to the Sampaguita to spend the night.
Andrew Anglin, White Supremacist and founder of the largest Neo-Nazi website the Daily Stormer, moves to the Phillipines to date Filipino women, just like many other Neo-Nazis. “In Davao, however, Anglin hit on every pretty young Filipina he saw and had success with many of them, sometimes taking advantage of their hope that an American husband could be an exit from poverty. Most of these girls were 18 or 19 years old, but Edward says some were younger. He remembers Anglin once picking up a 14-year-old in a bar and bringing her back to the Sampaguita to spend the night.”
